Delete your genvi account
Last updated: October 20, 2026
genvi is made by Gameverse, LLC. You can delete your genvi account and the data in it at any time, from the genvi app for iPhone, iPad or Android, or from the website. You do not need the app to do it.
In the app
- Open the genvi app and sign in.
- Go to Account, then Your data.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Confirm with your password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, type DELETE instead.
On the web
- Sign in at genvi.co.
- Open Settings at the foot of the sidebar, then the Account tab. Or go straight to genvi.co/account.
- Under Danger Zone, choose Delete account.
- Confirm with your password. If you sign in with Apple or Google, type DELETE instead.
What happens, and when
- Your account is locked straight away and permanently deleted 30 days later. Until then you can sign in and choose to keep it.
- If you do not want to wait, sign in after asking for the deletion and choose delete immediately. Your account is then deleted at once, and this cannot be undone.
- Credits left on the account are deleted with it and are not refunded.
When the account is deleted, we permanently delete:
- your profile, email address and sign-in details
- your projects, chats, and every file you uploaded or made, including what you shared to Explore
- the provider API keys you saved
- your credits and credit history, rewards and achievements
- templates you published, your Explore posts, likes and reports
- messages you sent us through the contact form from the same email address
A workspace you own passes to another of its members, so their work is not lost. A workspace with no other members is deleted with your account.
What we keep, and for how long
- Records of payments on genvi.co. Our payment processor, Stripe, keeps your customer record and invoices (name, email, billing address, amounts and dates) for as long as tax and accounting law requires us to, normally up to seven years. Saved cards are removed when the account is deleted.
- Records of App Store and Google Play purchases. Apple or Google, and RevenueCat, which processes in-app purchases for us, keep their own records under their own policies. We keep a log of the purchase notifications we received, which names your account number but not your name or email, for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Security records. Our audit log keeps entries such as sign-ins, the deletion request and plan changes, with your account number and, for some, an IP address and browser type, for up to 12 months. The record that your account was deleted keeps only the domain of your email address (for example gmail.com), never the address itself.
- Server logs and backups. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days and backups for up to 90 days, after which they are deleted or overwritten.
More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Subscriptions bought in the app
Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you bought through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google bill it, and only you can cancel it there:
- iPhone or iPad: open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Choose genvi, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android: open the Play Store, tap your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions. Choose genvi, then Cancel subscription.
A plan bought on genvi.co is cancelled by the deletion itself, when the account is deleted. To stop it renewing during the 30 days, cancel it in Billing on genvi.co before you delete, or choose to delete immediately.
If you cannot sign in
Email support@genvi.co from the email address on your genvi account and ask us to delete it. We delete accounts only on a request from the account's own address, so that nobody else can delete yours. We reply within 30 days.
